{"id":307,"date":"2015-10-26T17:38:30","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T17:38:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.adornostudies.org\/?p=307"},"modified":"2015-10-26T17:38:30","modified_gmt":"2015-10-26T17:38:30","slug":"two-new-books-by-espen-hammer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adornostudies.org\/?p=307","title":{"rendered":"Two new books by Espen Hammer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cla.temple.edu\/philosophy\/faculty\/espen-hammer\/\" target=\"_blank\">Espen Hammer<\/a>\u00a0has written to us to let us know about two titles now out or forthcoming.<\/p>\n<p>The first is his monograph, <em>Adorno&#8217;s Modernism: Art, Experience, Catastrophe\u00a0<\/em>(Cambridge, 2015).\u00a0Publisher&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/us\/academic\/subjects\/philosophy\/twentieth-century-philosophy\/adornos-modernism-art-experience-and-catastrophe\" target=\"_blank\">link.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second is an edited collection he put together in Routledge&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Critical Assessments of Leading Philosophers\u00a0<\/em>series, dedicated exclusively to Theodor W. Adorno. It is a two-volume enterprise that is meant to be a successor to the earlier 4 volume one.
