    Great site!

  2. I’m delighted to see the formation of this association. Too bad I didn’t know about it for the conferences in Baltmore and Philly. Is there formal membership?

I have just discovered this website, great to see that there are intellectuals (sorry for the pretentious word)interested in dialectics and critical theory (and in their master, if I can add ‘him’). I am still recovering from a PhD in sociology done under the supervision of a little nice of Neurath, and trying to undo the sociological dictates of mainstream sociology through heavy doses of Adorno and related literature… Thanks to the administrators!

  4. Thanks for the great Adorno study site! My dissertation thanks you too!

I teach Japanese intellectual history at Princeton, but I have been reading and rereading of and about Adorno for many years now. I studied philosophy in Italy, and that education informs my work on Japan. I just discovered this website as I started reading Martin Shuster’s Autonomy After Auschwitz and I look forward to continue visiting it.

  6. Something I thought you might enjoy…

I’ve begun a campaign to see Adorno and Horkheimer recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
My hope is to win a 2016 nomination (which will require sponsorship and the agreement of several parties).
This will hopefully stir an interesting conversation about their work.

  9. Greetings,

I was able to attend some of the discussions at the conference at the New School but unfortunately could not make Anna Katsman’s. Would you be able to forward me their paper, if you have a copy?

    Many thanks,
    Tristan

Can anyone give the reference for “Art knows us better than we know ourselves”?

  12. Dear The Association for Adorno Studies,

I was wondering if you had a contact email or an online discussion space? I have a query about the literature Adorno read and was wondering if there are any Adornian scholars I could direct my question to?

    Many thanks,

    Lillian

  13. Would love to come to São Paulo for the next Meeting. Is it already confirmed on April 26-28? Please let me know.
